Daniel Caesar is happily enjoying a resurgence thanks to the release of his latest album NEVER ENOUGH. Many are hailing the album as the best in his opus due to its strong collection of songs, such as his latest single “Valentina.” His fans are in luck, as Daniel is heavy on the promotion trail as he hits the road on his brief Almost Enough mini-tour. He’s also released a brand-new visual for “Valentina” and dropped an unexpected “bonus version” of NEVER ENOUGH that features three additional tracks.

The “Valentina” video will be familiar to those that caught the video for the lead single “Do You Like Me?” because it picks up right where that one left off. After a make-or-break argument, the crooner sheds his clothes and decides to rinse away his pain. At the same time, the woman he’s wronged sits in a bath as she contemplates the epic fight between them.

The pain between the two is felt even without them spending much time together in the clip. They each give us forlorn glances, never quite looking at the camera but demonstrating the emotions they’re each experiencing through their facial expressions. Despite the tension between them, though, they eventually find themselves in each other’s embrace by the video’s end as they seek comfort in the familiarity of one another.

Daniel and his lady aren’t the only ones experiencing a happy ending. The new bonus version of NEVER ENOUGH gives music lovers an updated version of “Valentina” with a rap from Rick Ross as well as the new track “Already,” which is a duet between Daniel and Summer Walker. Caesar’s Juno Awards-nominated cut “Please Do Not Lean” featuring BADBADNOTGOOD also made the number. You can stream the full album below after checking out the video for “Valentina” right here.
