Lucky Daye may have just wrapped his headlining Candydrip Tour, but he's not taking a break from performing. Before he hits the festival circuit, the GRAMMY Award-winner took his act to The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon to perform "Over" this week.

Although he released the lead single from his Candydrip album back in September 2021, "Over" is still making waves on the charts and is Daye's first song to crack Billboard's coveted Hot 100. So it was a no-brainer for the singer-songwriter to perform this track instead of another newer single like "Candy Drip" or "NWA." And perform he did.

Dressed in an eye-catching designer jacket and rocking dark sunglasses and a lower grill that glistened every time he opened his mouth, Lucky gave the late-night audience quite a show. Part of the performance's appeal was also thanks to his three-man band decked out in purple suits and background singers clad in dazzling pewter sequined gowns. Everyone was dressed to impress and sounded as good as they looked, especially Mr. Daye whose mic was all the way on.

We're just happy that this won't be the last that we see of Lucky Daye live. He is scheduled to perform this weekend at Sol Blume in Sacramento, at the inaugural R&B Only Fest in Atlanta in May and in June at Something In The Water in Washington, D.C. Before he graces those stages, watch how he got "Over" on The Tonight Show below.
