The Ton3s have been putting in work and it shows. They dropped a new single “Got So Much Love” earlier this month and are set to release their latest album We Are The Ton3s on Tuesday, May 31st. While we count down the remaining days until the album drops, the fellas are keeping our minds stayed on them with a music video for the project's lead single “Better.”
Directed by Kevin “Surf” Mitchell, the visual keeps it simple and plays with shadow, shade and silhouette. Tony Lelo, 2E and J. Vito step in and out of the light in the mostly black-and-white video with splashes of red throughout. The talented trio uses their voices and body language to deliver their loving message. Super-imposed images of women dancing interspersed with frames showcasing the soul brothas singing make this a fine complement to the song's laid-back feel.
We'll soon get to know The Ton3s a little better on their forthcoming collection We Are The Ton3s. The new project will land just in time for summer and will bring fans of the GRAMMY-nominated viral kings a summertime soundtrack for the hot nights and slow-cruising months ahead.
