The name on everybody’s lips these days seems to be Usher. Thanks to his blockbuster Las Vegas residency, the anniversary of his breakthrough album My Way and the recent release of his sexy new single “GLU,” it seems that the singer is bigger than ever. Perhaps that’s why he’s taking his show to the City Of Lights for a spate of shows that he’s dubbing Rendez-Vous Á Paris.
Usher will be taking over Paris’ La Seine Musicale from September 24th-28th, which happens to coincide with Paris Fashion Week, for a show that’s sure to be a spectacle and feature performances of his biggest hits. And for those worried that it will be a rehash of his Vegas shows, think again. He’ll be in his brand-new bag for this performance series, which includes new costumes; spectacular, state-of-the-art lighting and all kinds of special effects. Basically, Usher is putting the “U” in exclusive.
The fan presale for Rendez-Vous Á Paris will kick off on Wednesday, April 19th at 10 a.m. local time. On Thursday, April 20th, Live Nation, Ticketmaster and the venue will have their own presales. If seats aren’t completely sold out by then, general tickets to the four shows will go on sale officially on Friday, April 21st at 10 a.m. local time.
