Jorja Smith’s new album is loading! Five years after dropping her debut Lost & Found and pandemic EP Be Right Back, the British songstress is finally ready to unleash her sophomore album falling or flying. The highly anticipated set is due this September on the FAMM imprint.

Led by the moody single “Try Me” and its party-starting follow-up “Little Things,” Jorja’s next era is off to a fine start. The two songs couldn’t be any more different, but that’s the wave she’s on right now.

“This album is like my brain,” Smith shared in a press statement. “There’s always so much going on, but each song is definitely a standstill moment.”

She decided to return to her roots to make this project, recording it in her hometown of Walsall with the production duo DAMEDAME*. The album is described as “a sonic and an emotional tour of where she’s been, and what she’s been about” and “a statement that she has arrived.”
