Lucky Daye has had a banner 2022 with the release of his sophomore album Candydrip and a successful tour in support of the album. He's also floating off the recent announcement that he's been nominated for five GRAMMY Awards, including a nod for Best R&B Album and Best R&B Performance. In seeming celebration of a great year, the singer has dropped the video for his song "F**kin' Sound" and announced that a deluxe edition of Candydrip is on its way.
In the clip for "F**kin' Sound," Lucky dabbles in the time-honored tradition of mixing the spiritual and the carnal. We see Lucky walking down the aisle of pews in his choir robe on his way to the confession booth. As he makes his walk, we see why he might want to confess as he's having some impure thoughts about a fellow churchgoer.
The video takes us deeper into those fantasies, with the twosome getting busy all over the sanctuary in varying degrees of undress. There are plenty of steamy scenes to go around (with many just barely safe for work) and many of them are sure to raise eyebrows and temperatures before the sexy clip comes to a close.
As for Candydrip (Deluxe), Lucky Daye is being stingy with the details. We can only assume that there will be an updated tracklist and maybe even an additional guest or two. He did, however, divulge that the set will arrive just in time for the holiday rush on December 9th.
