DESTIN CONRAD is having a moment. Fresh off the release of his new EP SATIN, the singer drops the visual for the project’s dance-inducing opener “ON 10.”
"ON 10" is a soothing and sultry bop that tells the story of DESTIN shooting his shot and summoning his prospect to let it all go in love and life and possibly on the dance floor. Over the Jack Ro and Bijan Amir-produced track he sings, “I wanna see you on 10 tonight, do you feel a way? / Beat you to the punch, I wanna see you on 10.”
The accompanying visual, co-directed by CONRAD, Mia Andre and Gabe Phoenix, provides a hazy assortment of carefree imagery. Whether partaking in a bit of herbal elation, allowing the rhythm to overtake him or exploring a tropical oasis, the entire capture serves unbothered and boundless energy. The murky mélange is interrupted with black and white performance shots and DESTIN’s attempts to clear his head, leaving the viewer to decide whether it’s all been a dream. We expect nothing less from an artist who continues to push past creative confines and carve his own lane. We are here for all that DESTIN CONRAD is giving and are excited for more.
