Though it’s been some time since singer/songwriter Norelle blew us away with her Sade tribute EP To Sade, Love Norelle and her debut single "Homecoming," she’s been quite busy since then. After jumping the broom with the love of her life at the top of this year, she journeyed across continents in support of GRAMMY Award-winning singer Ella Mai’s The Debut Tour. With sold-out performances all across the globe and features on Anderson .Paak’s Oxnard and Ventura albums, the Cleveland native’s current momentum shows no signs of slowing and we are here for it.
Her latest single “Planted” is an exquisite exhibition of Norelle's vocal and songwriting talent. The mid-tempo groove evokes all the feels as she sings of a deeply rooted love, nurtured by time and resilience. Her gentle yet sincere tone is full of adoration as she sings, “Everything grows when I am with you / The seeds that you planted went into the root / You started a garden within my soul / I wanna be wherever you go.”
