Lucky Daye may have waited six months between singles “That’s You” and “HERicane,” but he is not wasting time when it comes to rolling out his new album Algorithm. He’s already shared that it will drop in June and revealed the cover art, and for his next big reveal, he’s announced that he’ll be touring to support the album.
The Algorithm Tour will take Lucky and his opening act Fana Hues all over North America starting in July and continuing deep into August. Weeks after Daye releases Algorithm during Black Music Month, he’ll kick off his new tour on July 11th in San Francisco. Soon after that, he’ll press on to Portland, Seattle, Minneapolis, Nashville, Chicago, Cleveland, Toronto, Pittsburgh, Boston, New York, Raleigh, Birmingham, Atlanta, New Orleans and Phoenix, to name a handful of the cities he’ll stop in along the way. Daye will return to California to end The Algorithm Tour with a run of three shows in San Diego, Anaheim and Los Angeles for the final show on August 28th.
The full 33-date tour is presented by Live Nation, although some show dates are non-Live Nation-produced shows. This is a massive outing for the GRAMMY Award-winning singer whose fans are eagerly awaiting his third album following his modern classics Painted and Candydrip. Algorithm is a shoe-in for our summertime playlists, and now Lucky Daye’s The Algorithm Tour is on our summertime to-do lists, too.
To attend The Algorithm Tour you’re going to need tickets, which go on sale to the general public on Lucky’s website starting Friday, May 3rd at 10 a.m. local time. In case you don’t want to wait, presale tickets are currently on sale for Citi cardmembers and accessible until Thursday, May 2nd at 10 p.m. local time on the Citi Entertainment website. If you don’t have a Citi card, there’ll also be additional presales, so keep your eyes peeled.
