It’s gonna be another hot summer in Las Vegas for R&B lovers. New Edition will be raising temperatures and their fans’ blood pressures with their announcement that they’re extending their residency into July by popular demand.
Michael Bivins broke the big news this week on stage in Vegas flanked by Ronnie DeVoe, Bobby Brown, Ricky Bell, Ralph Tresvant and Johnny Gill. “We coming back in July, y’all!” he shared to hoots and hollers from the shocked and awed audience. “Tell your family, tell your friends, tell your homeboy, tell your homegirl! It ain’t over! New Edition just getting started on the Strip!”
Originally scheduled to end its six-show run on Saturday, March 9th, NE has decided to add a second round of shows to New Edition Las Vegas happening at the Encore Theater at Wynn Las Vegas. This new addition also consists of six shows and will run on selected dates between Wednesday, July 3rd through Saturday, July 13th.
New Edition’s Las Vegas residency was quite a hot ticket when it was announced in November 2023. All concerts at the intimate Encore Theater sold out quickly, and it’s likely to happen again for this new set of shows, so get your coins and credit cards together ASAP.
Tickets to July’s New Edition Las Vegas dates go on presale starting Monday, March 11th at 10 a.m. PT. New Edition shared the presale code VEGAS for all their fans who want early access. Tickets for the general public will go on sale on Friday, March 15th at 10 a.m. PT. All tickets will be sold via Ticketmaster.
