Miguel and Travi$ Scott are still riding high on the remix of Miguel's "waves" since its debut in January, so it was only fitting that they laced it with some visuals. While the original track already got a video treatment back in October, Miguel wanted to commemorate the never-ending party with another version to incorporate Travi$ and new partygoers. Miguel opens the visuals dropping his own version of major keys, saying, "You know you can die. Why not live?" We're then transported to a scene of Miguel and Travis standing on the roof of the Wildheart Motel as they perform in what looks like a scene from Project X. The entire video, with its old school VHS filter, features the two artists getting the screaming crowd hype on the roof and they don't disappoint. There are no cameos or psychedelic pool scenes in this version, but Miguel and Travi$ work together to make the visuals worth watching.
The song was a banger before Travi$ got to the party, and once he joined in, he added an extra dose of turn up and a little more trap to the single and video. We're still waiting for our invitation to Miguel's next shindig since it looks like the party never quite stops with this one, and neither does his Wildheart promo.
