Hidden Beach Wants You To ‘Adore’ Jill Scott’s ‘Golden Moments’ Greatest Hits Compilation

Something has been simmering in the Jill Scott camp for months now, with her recent releases “You Don’t Know” and “Fool’s Gold” and news of an upcoming summer tour. Over at her old record label Hidden Beach, something has been brewing as well: a new compilation of Jill Scott’s greatest hits. To celebrate Hidden Beach’s 15th anniversary, the label will release Golden Moments, another roundup of Jilly from Philly’s classic ditties, including “Golden,” “He Loves Me” and the GRAMMY Award-winning “Cross My Mind.” There’s more to celebrate because this year also marks the 15th anniversary of Who Is Jill Scott? Words and Sounds Vol. 1.

The commemorative album also includes a newbie of sorts, the previously unreleased track “I Adore You” from her 2011 compilation album The Original Jill Scott from the Vault Vol.1. To debut the new single, Hidden Beach is soliciting photos of, you guessed it, the ones you adore. You can enter the #IAdoreYou photo contest on Facebook and submit your favorite photo of your loved ones, even including your pets. The photo contest ends in just a few days on June 4th, and the music video for “I Adore You” will premiere, with fan photos, a few days later.

Although Jill has been giving us a steady supply of new tracks, if you want to relive the moments from her very first single “Gettin’ In The Way” to when you were drunk in love off “Crown Royal,” then you won’t have to wait too much longer since Golden Moments debuts on June 16th. While you’re submitting your favorite flicks for the “I Adore You” video, let Jill Scott know how much you adore her by pre-ordering Golden Moments over at Hidden Beach.
