It’s June, which means that it’s officially Black Music Month — or African-American Music Appreciation Month to be more politically correct. Whatever you choose to call it, this month is the time to celebrate music of Black American origin, which we do everyday here at SoulBounce, but it’s time to turn up.
In celebration of Black Music Month 2015 and our reaching 3000 followers on Instagram, SoulBounce is kicking off our first IG game for all you music loving SoulBouncers out there. Join us every day this June for the #30DaysOfSoul Instagram Challenge. Each day has a specific theme related to Soul music and its many sub-genres and various eras as shown in the graphic above. We’ll post our daily picks on @soul.bounce on Instagram, and you can participate by posting your daily favorites to your individual IG pages and including the hashtag #30DaysOfSoul.
Join SoulBounce as we recognize, respect and represent the past, present and future of Soul music all June long, and let’s collectively show the world that Soul music is alive and thriving.
