Singer Lysette Titi joined Talib Kweli and Christette Michele on May 10th for the DC Love Festival, opening for the artists and getting the audience warmed up. Lysette, also known as the first lady of the Backyard Band (BYB) opened up the show with cover songs and moved across the stage with enough energy to get the audience ready for the rest of the show. Her current single "Leap" has been getting a lot of play on WHUR, and her live performance is definitely a must-see and hear.
