Outkast are the latest to get the starRo treatment. To celebrate the group reuniting and headlining Coachella this year, starRo, of music collective Soulection, remixed his favorite Outkast song, “Prototype.” The LA-based producer and instrumentalist experiments with jazz, R&B and soul, among other sounds, so this redefinition of "Prototype" was right up his musical alley. starRo turned the already whimsical track into a bossa nova dream sequence, featuring guitars, percussion, synthesizers and the signature chorus. Just in case you thought “Prototype” couldn’t get any better, you were wrong. The Brazilian flair adds a new element to the track that almost brings it back to life in a new world.
