I'm a sucker for the boy-girl duos by way of Quadron, New Look, and J*DaVeY, so how did I manage to bypass AlunaGeorge? As the current state of R&B doesn't always agree with me daily, the UK duo are a brisk alternative, as they've successfully taken the cloying artificial sweetener out, but manage to keep all the backbone of soul and the infectious pop groove intact. It's evident on their debut single, "You Know You Like It" and they continue that formula on "Just A Touch" the now second single from their recently released EP, You Know You Like It. They get all touchy-feely in their stark black-n-white visual for "Just A Touch," and it's a real minimalistic treat to see, not to mention the song is a great slice of futuristic R&B-pop that is indulging to my ears.
