Abimaro & The Free are a London-based trio comprised of Abimaro Suit (lead vocals), James Beatt (bass and vocals), and Alex Montaque (keys and vocals). The three met at London's renowned Goldsmith's College three years ago and have been creating music independently ever since. Their first and only release thus far is So I'll Boast, a five-track EP recorded live and released almost a year ago. How we haven't heard about them in the meantime is anyone's guess. Musically they straddle soul, folk, and jazz, all tied together by Abimaro's smooth, sultry vocals.
