If there is one thing that I will never waver from regarding the holiday season, it's the following: my right to spike everyday items with rum whenever the need strikes, Donny Hathaway's "This Christmas," The Whispers' Christmas albums, and Vince Guaraldi's A Charlie Brown Christmas. Although I still haven't quite figured out how I feel about Mayer Hawthorne--sometimes I dig him and sometimes I don't--I am accepting of his remake of Mr. Guaraldi's "Christmas Time Is Here." It actually gets better as the song progresses, my initial scowling be damned. Take a listen and form your own opinion after you press play below.
