K. Michelle has a lot on her plate right now. The singer/reality star is getting ready to release a new album, Anybody Wanna Buy a Heart?, in December and her latest foray into the reality TV universe, K. Michelle: My Life, premieres on her second home VH1 tonight. But though K. might be busy, that doesn't mean that she's showing any signs of stopping.
After premiering the album trailer for #AWBAH (and revealing the album's name) last week, the singer has now revealed the album's cover and tracklisting. Judging by the artwork, which is a simple black-and-white photo of your girl wearing nothing but high heels and a long weave, Anybody Wanna Buy a Heart? is going to be a rather raw and intimate affair. That's made even more evident by song titles like "Cry," "Hard to Do" and "God, I Get It" (something tells us a word is gonna be preached there), which all sound like K. will be laying all her feelings bare for the world to see.
To further illustrate this, the singer has also released the new single "Maybe I Should Call." The track listens like an entry ripped directly from the her own personal diary. She waffles back and forth about whether or not she should call a man she's in a long-distance relationship with, with the many complications leaving K. all in her head and deep in her feelings. Backing her is a piano-led track accompanied by a programmed kick-and-snare rhythm that plays up the drama of the lyrics while still giving listeners something to nod their heads to.
