Fantasia plans to spend a lot of time on the road this year. The star of the forthcoming film adaptation of The Color Purple musical is bringing her talents to a stage near you on her newly announced concert tour.
The tour will take Tasia across North America and includes her headlining concerts and music festival appearances throughout 2023. Kicking off on May 12th, Fantasia’s travels will begin in Bridgeport, CT with a show with Joe. The very next day, she’ll headline the Mother’s Day Music Festival with Ne-Yo and Kenny Lattimore joining her on the bill.
More concerts with Joe will follow with three shows in California, including the Stone Soul Concert with Kem, Robin Thicke, Vivian Greene and Kurtis Blow, toward the end of this month. Fantasia will jet across the country to perform at the DMV’s Capital Jazz Fest to begin June and Black Music Month.
Thus far, the tour is scheduled to hit 21 cities this spring, summer and fall and will even take her to Mexico in August for Caribbean Fest with Charlie Wilson, Jodeci, Dru Hill, Doug E. Fresh and a host of other entertainers. Fantasia will be gone til November, with the tour scheduled to wrap on November 4th in Jacksonville, Florida.
