Who would've thought that when D-Nice took out the turntables for an Instagram Live session more than a year ago he'd start a phenomenon in the midst of a worldwide pandemic? But he did and Club Quarantine was born in that moment. His effort has garnered international attention, partnerships with major brands and celebs, and even got him an NAACP Image Award for his dedication. Now he's bringing the experience to the people — and more specifically the Hollywood Bowl — with a special live event on August 29th.
Club Quarantine Live At Hollywood Bowl promises to be one for the ages. Not only will it feature the entertainer of the year behind the wheels of steel and Chris Spencer and Donnie Wahlberg as hosts, it also boasts an impressive lineup of special guests. Among those announced are legends The Isley Brothers and Sheila E. alongside other heavy hitters such as Common, Trey Songz, Deborah Cox, Amerie, Carl Thomas, Kiana Ledé and Erica Campbell. As if that list wasn't enough to get us hyped beyond belief, there are even more guests on the docket that have yet to be announced.
"I imagined this being the first CQ Live and we all manifested it together," a grateful D-Nice said of the upcoming event on his Instagram profile. "Thanks to the CQ community for keeping me inspired. Thanks to all of the artists that believed in the vision."
Tickets for the event are on sale right now and can be purchased at the Hollywood Bowl's website. We suggest you get in where you fit in, as we're sure that seats are going to go fast.
