We're right in the thick of summer, but let Lenny Kravitz tell it and the best season of the year hasn't even begun. Nearly a year after releasing his most recent album Raise Vibration (and a full year after dropping it as a single), Lenny is finally giving us a visual for his bright and happy track "5 More Days 'Til Summer" that celebrates the coming of warm weather, cookouts, beach days and everything the season has to offer.
The video, directed by Noah Becker, captures the soulful rocker frolicking in the green of a forest, his trusty guitar at his side as he sings about needing time to just let loose. The camera doesn't just focus on Lenny, though. While we get plenty of the denim-clad singer, we're also shown several scenes of people throwing off the shackles of the doldrums of everyday life. Watching people from all kinds of walks in life come together to revel in the sun and fun of the summer months is perhaps one of the most joyful things we've seen all year. Add in Mr. Kravitz serving up his nonchalant sexy and you've got the makings for a video worth replaying.
In addition to the clip for "5 More Days 'Til Summer," Lenny Kravitz is also extending his Raise Vibration Tour once again, adding a host of North American dates for the trek that will kick off in Vienna, Virginia on August 21st and wrap up on September 21st at Los Angeles' Shrine Auditorium.
