The release of Lenny Kravitz's Raise Vibration is getting closer every day. Though we're anxious to get our hands on it, he's given us more than enough to hold us over with the release of singles like "It's Enough" and "Low." With the previous singles tackling the political and the personal, respectively, Lenny's now focusing on fun with his latest single "5 More Days 'Til Summer."
Lenny continues his quest to show us all his musical sides the new single. "5 More Days 'Til Summer" finds him delving back into the pop-rock that we go to know him through when he first came on the scene. A Cali drenched guitar riff serves as the song's base while he sings of his workday blues on the verse. Though the grind has him feeling down, there's still hope as Lenny's looking at the calendar and counting down the days 'til the arrival of the warmest season of the year. This song is possibly the closest we've gotten to Lenny's classic sound in a while as he's been experimenting with quite a few different sounds over the past few years to great effect. Still, it's nice to know that he's still a man of many sounds and talents.
Raise Vibration is set to arrive on September 7th, which will leave a couple more weeks of summer left after it drops. But since we're smack dab in the middle of summer right now, we can enjoy both "5 More Days Of Summer" and the sunny days ahead simultaneously. Get into Lenny Kravitz' latest when you press play.
