Drake Settles Lawsuit Against Woman Who Accused Him Of Rape
While he's had one of the best years ever career-wise, Drake has also been plagued by a few personal problems in 2018. One of those has come to an end, though, as the "God's Plan" rapper has settled a lawsuit against a woman who he claimed falsely accused him of rape and impregnating her after an alleged consensual encounter. "The filing made by Drake against Layla Lace has been resolved, with Layla avoiding going to trial by agreeing to a stipulated judgment which prohibits her from repeating past statements she made against Drake,"his attorney Larry Stein said in a statement to TMZ. Per the stipulations of the settlement, Layla has agreed to not republish the IG post where she first made the claims of Drake impregnating her and that she won't make “statements alleging or insinuating [Drake] assaulted her” or any other unsavory comments about Drizzy. #OverAndDone
