By now, we all know that Electric Lady #1 Janelle Monáe knows how to put on one hell of a live show. Our very own EIC Butta got to witness this firsthand when she attended Mother Android's Washington, DC stop on her current tour. And, for those of us unlucky enough to miss out on the show -- which is selling out like hotcakes all over the US -- we can take solace in knowing that Ms. Monáe will soon be the musical guest on an upcoming episode of Saturday Night Live. This will, surprisingly enough, be the singer's first time gracing the SNL stage, though we're sure that after she turns that mutha out it won't be her last. We can't help but wonder if Janelle, who studied musical theater, will also flex her acting chops alongside the episode's guest host, Edward Norton.
