You're right, Talib Kweli. I can't predict when the sun will shine. I can pretty much bet with a fair amount of accuracy that the sun will shine on most days here in sunny California as it certainly did at this video shoot for 'Long Hot Summer." While Talib may dedicate this song to "all the ladies," Hi-Tek's ominous beat lends a feeling of suspense to this track. Alas, dope track aside, I was left feeling a bit unfulfilled, unlike your lady friend, Talib, who managed to reach a new high score. Oh well.
