Brandy’s holiday album is in heavy rotation this season. The entire Christmas With Brandy project has gotten a lot of play around these parts, but there’s one song in particular that we’re obsessed with. That would be the LP’s sensual lead single “Christmas Party For Two.” Now Brandy gives us something else to obsess over with the track’s official visual.
Directors William Sikora III and Frank Gatson go understated for the video filmed exclusively in black-and-white. Brandy and her beau return to their luxurious home after a night out and enjoy a nightcap of Stella Rosa Brandy. They get a little frisky in the kitchen and engage in a quick slow dance by the island before they make their way upstairs.
The couple stops in the bathroom to admire their beautiful reflections before going to the bedroom. There’s no holiday hanky panky happening here, though. Brandy sits at the edge of the bed while he’s all the way on the other side seated against the headboard. Later when we see them by the raging fireplace and he holds a bunch of mistletoe over their heads, they lean in but never seal the scene with a kiss.
For such a sexy song, the video for “Christmas Party For Two” is more nice than naughty. Brandy keeps it totally tasteful and tame, leaving everything up to the viewer’s imagination.
