SZA celebrated the first anniversary of her game-changing album SOS over the weekend. Released on December 9, 2022, the GRAMMY-nominated set has dominated the charts and playlists since it dropped. SZA doesn’t plan on loosening her grip on the public just yet. The singer is gearing up for the release of the deluxe edition of SOS entitled Lana, and she teased the forthcoming project by revealing a collection of six album covers.

Posted across her socials, all six covers were photographed by Cassidy Meyers, who shot some of the key art for SOS. The covers depict SZA in a few different scenes – camping in a tent, standing in a grassy field, on a farm with various animals and seated on a folding chair in a bare room. In three of the images, SZA is wearing a blue and white football jersey with the number 15 on it, leading to speculation that Lana may be released on Friday, December 15th.

SZA has neither confirmed nor denied if Lana will indeed come out this Friday after posting those supposed clues, but she did previously share some information about the project. Back in September, she told the crowd at an event in NYC, “So the deluxe is like a whole ’nother album, and it’s called Lana. It’s seven to 10 songs, and it’ll be out this fall.”

To hear her tell it, this deluxe album may turn out to be her third album. We’re not quite sure what to expect from Lana or when to expect it, but SZA has us ready and waiting for whatever she decides to surprise us with.
