Back in March, Tori Kelly released her new single “missin u,” and we realized just how much we’ve been missing her. Thankfully, the songbird isn’t making us wait too much longer for more new tunes with the announcement of her upcoming EP, tori, due on Friday, July 28th.
Kelly is ready to make a splash this summer with her self-titled project, her debut release on her new label home Epic Records. She’s shared the EP’s cover art, but details about tori are scant thus far. What we do know is that the EP will feature seven tracks, one of which is the single, of course, and another of which is an “R&B edit” of a yet-to-be-revealed song.
As far as the direction she’ll be taking musically on tori, “missin u” indicates that she’s in her Y2K pop and R&B bag right now, and she loves it there. The bubbly sound has proven itself a very comfortable fit for her. However, Tori Kelly can honestly sing anything and any genre, so we fully expect to be wowed regardless.
