“Be A Witness” might be the name of a single from Lady Wray’s upcoming album Cover Girl, but it looks like she is taking the song’s title to heart. That’s because she’s set to embark on a lengthy, 40-date tour in support of the project that’s set to kick off this July.
First up on the itinerary is Europe, which will see the artist formerly known as Nicole Wray hit the stage in 14 cities across the continent. It begins on July 1st in Paris at the venue New Morning. From there, the singer hits the UK for shows in London and Manchester and then sets her sights on three dates in Spain. After that, she’ll land in The Netherlands (including a spot during the North Sea Jazz Festival) and Germany before wrapping things up with three nights in Switzerland.
After her European adventure, Wray will take a brief break in August (with the exception of a set scheduled for Saturday, August 23rd) before locking in for a bevy of North American tour dates scheduled for this fall. The tour will start off on September 28th in Kingston, NY before hitting several cities across the US and Canada — including D.C., Philadelphia, Brooklyn, Toronto, Los Angeles, Denver and Fort Worth — before wrapping up on November 22nd in Austin, TX.
