We welcomed Ryan Destiny back onto our playlists a few weeks ago when she dropped her new single “How Your Hands Feel.” The Trackside-produced song sounds like the sonic little sister of Rihanna’s “Kiss It Better,” but the sultry number stands tall on its own legs. Ryan makes sure that the track stays top of mind with the release of a visual.
Behind the camera for “How Your Hands Feel” are Mariel Noir and Marita Gomsrud, better known as the Norwegian director duo Freōdōm. They capture Destiny in gorgeous interior and exterior shots showcasing her beauty while she wears a variety of stylish fashions – or sometimes nothing at all. She rolls solo in the video, but the singer/actress easily commands our attention with her looks and lewks.
“How Your Hands Feel” is actually Ryan’s second piece of new music of 2024. At the top of February, she released a lovely cover of “Doctor, My Eyes,” which was originally recorded by Khamari and released as a single in 2021 before he included it on his debut album A Brief Nirvana last year.
We don’t know yet if these two new tracks will find their way onto Ryan Destiny’s long-awaited debut album, but we have our fingers crossed that she decides to bless us with news about the project soon. Shortly after the release of “How Your Hands Feel,” she hinted on social media that “there’s only more,” which has us cautiously optimistic.
