Doechii is continuing her one-woman takeover of our playlists. We last heard from the rapper when she hopped on the COLORS Studios stage to debut her newest single "Stressed." The TDE-signed rising star isn't done with us yet, though. After racking up the views on that one, she's decided to release the studio version of the single for fan's enjoyment.
The studio version of the track doesn't differ much from what she presented on COLORS. Doechii offers a mix of singing and rapping that moves with the ebbs and flows of the song's production. The studio version does give us even more of the background vocals and ad-libs, though. While her harmonies are impressive, the random musings she injects with echo-y shouts in between the chorus and verses (among other places) are sure to make you crack a smile.
She doesn't only have "Stressed" to offer us, though. Doechii also recently partnered with Spotify's RADAR program for emerging artists to offer a unique performance of her she/her/black b***h track "This B***h Matters." The introspective cut was a standout on the EP and Doechii brings it to life in her performance. Standing between closet doors and a shelving unit, she spins for the camera as she performs. She eventually snatches clothes from the set's closet to emphasize her rhymes before bringing the performance to a close with a hand to the camera.
