Attending a Las Vegas residency is the new black, but that isn’t the only reason for music lovers to take a trip to Sin City. The 2024 Las Vegas City Of Lights Jazz And R&B Festival needs to be on your list. The annual music festival is coming on strong the weekend of Saturday, May 4th and Sunday, May 5th with a roster of talented artists blurring the lines between jazz, R&B and soul.
Saturday’s lineup will be headlined by soul brotha Anthony Hamilton featuring his extraordinary background vocalists The Ton3s. Leading up to his set will be performances by The Love King Raheem DeVaughn, South African singer-songwriter-guitarist Jonathan Butler, contemporary saxophonist Mike Phillips and jazz bassist Julian Vaughn.
Sunday’s festival closer will be smooth jazz icon Boney James with his trusty saxophone. Before his evening performance, the day will be filled with live music by multifaceted R&B crooner October London, soulful jazz songstress Maysa, indie soul king Eric Roberson and jazz flutist Althea Rene.
Now in its 32nd year, the 2024 Las Vegas City Of Lights Jazz And R&B Festival is going to be a good old time filled with great performances. It’s one of the more relaxed jazz festivals, with a lineup that isn’t overwhelming and featuring an intimate, picnic-style layout. The event is set to once again take place at the Clark County Government Amphitheater with ample grassy space where attendees can kick back on blankets or set up lawn chairs and bring picnic baskets filled with their preferred food and drinks. Festivalgoers will also have more food options on-site as well as a vendor village to let the dollar circulate.
