It's safe to say that UK outfit Jungle had us enamored when they dropped their sophomore set For Ever back in 2018. Bolstering jams such as "Beat 54" and "Casio," the album found them further expanding upon their eclectic mix of dance, R&B, funk, electronic and disco. Now Jungle is ready to do it all over again with their upcoming album Loving In Stereo. To get us ready for what they've got in store, they've released the set's lead single "Keep Moving."
All the usual elements are here for "Keep Moving." Strings, a rubbery bass line, smooth-strutting drums and haunting vocals all join to make an awesome listening experience. What makes it even better is the song's inspirational message. "Unless you understand it / Then find out what to do / Don't think about it / I'll be running with you," they sing. "If I can't understand it / I'll find another way / Keep movin' / Keep movin'."
As they are wont to do, the video for "Keep Moving" doesn't feature the members of Jungle at all. Instead, the focus is once again on a crew of good-looking and highly skilled dancers whose style and smooth moves steal the show. Before we're treated to any of that, though, we get a listen to their track "Dry Your Tears" as the camera pans through a building before moving into a courtyard to pull focus to our leading lady in red. She may be our focus, but there are many dancers doing the thing with ease to gladly distract our eyes with their effortless steps. We think it's safe to say that Jungle has got us again.
Loving In Stereo is set to release on August 13th and will also feature guest artists Bas and Priya Ragu (marking a first for a Jungle album).
