If MNEK's SoundCloud page was a person, it would need a protective order against me as much as I stalk it. Some may call my devotion an obsession, but I call it a deep admiration and appreciation for what this young man is bringing to the music landscape. And, dammit, he is bringing it. This time around there's no new music to report on, but he has posted the audio to his stellar balladized version of his soulful house stomper "Ready For Your Love" with Gorgon City. The song finds a new life in this stripped down take, with the lovelorn lyrics and MNEK's arresting vocals grabbing your attention and getting you in your feelings. This stunner was first unveiled a few weeks ago via a music video, but there was no other way to get your hungry little hands on it until now. MNEK's "Ready For Your Love (Stripped)" unfortunately still isn't being offered up for sale, so this is as close one can get to owning it for the moment.
