The brothers of WanMor weren’t yet born in the 1990s, but you wouldn’t know it from the quality of their ’90s R&B covers. After gagging us with their remake of their dad Wanya Morris’ group Boyz II Men’s “Please Don’t Go,” they are back in their ’90s bag with a brand-new cover of Tevin Campbell’s 1991 slow jam “Alone With You.”

The youngest WanMor brother Rocco takes the lead on “Alone With You,” and he is giving young Tevin with his vocals. Rocco may be in the spotlight, but his older brothers Big BoyChulo and Tyvas aren’t too far behind. Their backgrounds, harmonies and ad-libs assist in making this remake a moment.

WanMor’s rendition of “Alone With You” doesn’t stray far from the original from its sound to its arrangement. They sing the Al B. Sure! and Kyle West-penned lyrics like the song was written for them. The group even nods to West with a breakdown toward the end of the song that is a nostalgic chef’s kiss.

’90s R&B is in WanMor’s DNA, and they continue to show and prove that they’re the future while deeply rooted in the past. Prepare to be impressed when you listen to their take on “Alone With You” right here.
