Ryan Destiny is one busy lady. When she's not acting on shows like Star or grown-ish, the multi-hyphenate is turning heads as a model for brands and in fashion spreads. She's also a singer, though it seems her other ventures don't always allow her to log studio time. Destiny is making amends for that, however, with the release of her latest single "How Many."
Like her previous single "Do You," "How Many" finds Ryan over a dude's trifling ways. But this time, instead of threatening to treat him the same way, she's instead making him do the work as she asks a few searing questions.
"At some point you gotta ask yourself questions like / (How many) women have you f**ked? / (How many) women have you loved? / (How many) promises you made? / How many did you break?" she questions on the chorus of the Trackside-produced track.
By the song's end, it's clear that the singer is not one to be toyed with and that she's moving on to the next. It seems that the song's sentiment was inspired by real-life events. "I really wanted to touch on that with a little bit of my own experiences with certain men and people that kinda just play you when you wanna just say, 'I'm not the one," she told HotNewHipHop about the single.
