Has it been a pretty hot summer for you? Here at SBHQ, it's been scorching — and we ain't talking about the weather. Our faves have been lacing us something lovely all summer and our playlists overfloweth. One such fave is our girl Jody Watley. Teaming up once again with the fellas of SRL, the iconic artist steamed things up and smoothed it all out with their latest single"The Passion." Of course, a single this dope deserves an equally fly video, and the trio has delivered exactly that.
In the Damien Sandoval-directed clip, Jody and the fellas get together in the Hollywood Hills to hang out in Jody's palatial space (seriously, can we get an invite?). The hangout session soon turns into a full-out party full of friends, fun and love as everyone catches a vibe and keeps the loving energy flowing. Soundtracking it all is the mellow smooth groove of the track, which seems to match the feel of the festivities perfectly. Oh, and we'd be remiss if we didn't mention how fabulous everyone looks here. The all-black fits (which the fellas accent with pops of red) and the way they just happen to coordinate with the homes black-and-white decor (not to mention their beautiful faces) make this one a feast for both eyes and ears.
Of course, "The Passion" was already getting much spin around these parts, but now we're just gonna put this video on repeat and imagining we're enjoying all this luxury with Jody Watley and SRL, too. See what we mean when you press play.
