Miles Mosley is a musician, singer, composer, producer and arranger who is widely known for playing with Kamasi Washington on upright bass. However, that’s not his only claim to fame. Mosley is also a solo artist, and he is gearing up to soon release his debut album, UPRISING. How soon? Well, Friday, January 27th to be exact, and the Los Angeles native is counting down the days to his album release concert at the El Rey Theatre on Saturday, January 28th. Miles won’t be alone, with his tribe from The West Coast Get Down joining him. Fellow musicians Washington, Tony Austin, Cameron Graves, Ryan Porter, Dennis Hamm and Dontae Winslow will join Mosley to jam and celebrate.
This is going to be a can’t miss event for Los Angeles music heads and jazz fans. To make sure that you don’t miss out, purchase tickets now at the El Rey box office or online via AXS. There’s another place to also get ticket — right here! The generous folks at Goldenvoice have given us a pair of tickets to give away, which you can enter to win on the next page.
