There doesn't seem to be a great deal of information floating around about vocalist Luna Angel. Sure she has the standard MySpace, Facebook, and Twitter pages, but content is a little thin on the ground. Usually this makes me skip past an artist or project, but for some reason I decided to take a listen to her free EP, The Northern Lights Vol.1. I'm glad that I took the chance on the Los Angeles-based singer/songwriter. Produced by The Auracle, Luna Angel mixes electro soul, R&B, hip hop, and pop to produce some extremely catchy tracks. Take a listen to her songs "Lost" and "Not A Zombie," and tell me you, too, are not intrigued. If you like what you're hearing, be sure to download the mixtape for your collection and to keep an ear out for more.
