Tinashe’s current single “Nasty” is making moves while the singer makes us move. Released in April following her debuting the track at Coachella, the infectious bop has since gone viral, became her first Billboard solo entry and is a strong contender for Song Of The Summer. We love to see Tinashe doing the damn thing as an independent artist, and we especially loved seeing her get “Nasty” on Jimmy Kimmel Live! recently.

Nashe pulled up with a squad of dancers and the front half of an old car as a prop. She began the song seated on the vehicle’s roof before sliding down onto the hood then onto the stage, which became her dance floor. And dance Tinashe did – recreating the sexy choreography from the “Nasty” video with the six dancers who were there to match her freak.

It’s been a decade since Tinashe made her Jimmy Kimmel Live! debut with “2 On” in 2014, and she’s been back to sing “X” and “It Takes Two” with Rob Base over the years. Her return with “Nasty,” however, may have been one of her more exciting performances on the program.

There’s much more Tianshe to come. “Nasty” is the lead single from her forthcoming LP QUANTUM BABY. The project will be her seventh studio album and the second installment in her BB/ANG3L trilogy. Although she hasn’t shared a release date or any additional details outside of a 30-second album trailer, Tinashe’s new era is sounding and looking good.
