It looks like our girl Normani is finally coming with it. She shocked us all in February when she revealed that she was actually set to release her debut album DOPAMINE this year and even hit us with a sexy album cover. Since then, the singer has dropped her Gunna-featuring single “1:59” and teased her next jam “Candy Paint.” She’s back to tease us once more, this time giving us a trailer for the album titled “Dopamine (First Dose)” that offers a preview of what she’s been cooking up.
The teaser, which is just under two minutes, begins with the performer giving us her best Girl 6 impression as she promises that she’s “here to satisfy your deepest, darkest, wildest desires.” We then get stylized moments that seem to be from videos for both “1:59” and “Candy Paint.”
The section with “1:59” finds her getting sexy and slinky with a very lucky fella while also posing it up with Gunna. The beat then switches to “Candy Paint” as the camera zooms out from her lovely face to reveal her silver-coated body and the matching rocket on which she sits. The camera allows her a few seconds to make it shake and wiggle before the screen goes black and the album’s name and June 14th release date are shown on the screen in bold red characters.
