Lianne La Havas is an artist that we haven’t heard from in a while – since 2021 to be exact when she released a remix to the song “Seven Times” taken from her stellar 2020 self-titled effort. Lianne La Havas was one of the albums that got us through the first year of the pandemic, and four years later, it’s still in rotation while we patiently await her return. While she’s kept a low profile over the past few years, it seems that Lianne has been missing her fans as much as they’ve been missing her. She’ll soon reward her U.S. fanbase with her presence during a brief tour this summer.
The British beauty will arrive stateside in July for the four-date trek. The tour will be concentrated in the Northeast, beginning in Washington, D.C. on July 28th. She’ll then move on to New York City where she has two shows scheduled for July 30th and July 31st at two separate venues. The shows will culminate at the Newport Jazz Festival in Newport, Rhode Island where she’s on the August 3rd lineup.
This tour is short, but it will be oh-so-sweet for Lianne La Havas’ fans in the States who were robbed of an opportunity to see her perform live in support of her last album. Speaking of music, the esteemed songstress has hinted that she has some on the way that she may just perform while on the road.
“I’m really looking forward to sharing with you what I’ve been up to for all this time 🙂 in real life,” La Havas wrote on Instagram earlier this month in the caption of a photograph of herself. “Feeling truly grateful for all of you. I couldn’t ask for more – the most beautiful, talented, supportive, loyal fans.”
It sounds like Lianne La Havas is excited to get back on stage and in front of the people. Now it’s time for the people to turn up and turn out at her summertime shows.
