Tyla is ready for the world. A world tour, that is. Days after dropping three new songs and sharing the news that her debut album TYLA would be coming in 2024, the South African doll hits us with a double whammy with her announcement of the album’s release date and The TYLA Tour.
March 2024 will be a big month for the singer. On Friday, March 1st, she will begin the month with a roar when TYLA is released globally on that day. The album will feature 14 songs that blend her native Amapiano with R&B and pop. It’s confirmed that her big hit “Water,” the “Water Remix” with Travis Scott and brand-new singles “Truth Or Dare,” “Butterflies” and “On And On” will all appear on the project.
After her Tygers have a few weeks to spend with the album, learn the words to every song and perfect the choreography to any dance challenges that spring up between now and then, The TYLA Tour will begin. The big kickoff will be in Europe on March 21st in Oslo, Norway. She’ll keep it moving and grooving with shows in Stockholm, Copenhagen, Berlin, Cologne, Paris, Amsterdam and London. After these dates in Europe and UK, North America here she comes!
The North American portion of The TYLA Tour will start on April 22nd in San Francisco. She’ll sing and dance her way across the U.S. and Canada with shows in several major cities including Seattle, Vancouver, Austin, New Orleans, Miami, Atlanta, D.C., Philadelphia, Montreal and Toronto. The tour will end in Minneapolis with its final show on the books for May 28th.
Thus far, Tyla is scheduled to perform in 27 cities between UK, Europe and North America. Her label Epic Records has shared that the tour will encompass a total of 34 dates, however. So if you don’t see your city listed among the dates on the flyer below, it appears as if she has at least seven more shows left to announce. (Cross your fingers and say your prayers, Tygers in NYC, LA, Chicago, Vegas, the Carolinas and elsewhere!)
Tickets to The TYLA Tour will go on sale to the general public on Friday, December 8th at 10 a.m. local time. There will also be an exclusive pre-sale happening on Thursday, December 7th and also beginning at 10 a.m. local time. Sign up for access to the pre-sale on Tyla’s website.
