Raheem DeVaughn doesn’t call himself The Love King for kicks and giggles. He is on a mission to keep love – and lust – alive in R&B and soul music and has been doing a mighty fine job. This year alone, he’s already dropped the album Love Euphoria, a collaborative project with saxophonist Vandell Andrew and producers The Colleagues, featuring the body-rocking Goapele duet “Love Around The Clock.” Now, he’s keeping the momentum going and the sexy music coming with the announcement of a new EP entitled Summer Of Love and the release of its sensual lead single “All Night.”

Summer Of Love will arrive on the first day of summer, Wednesday, June 21st, on DeVaughn’s independent label New Era Soul Records/DMG. Raheem is a businessman, and he gets down to business on “All Night” produced by Jamil Face Johnson for H.M.P.

As the title suggests, Raheem DeVaughn has his sights set on a long night ahead with his lady. He has to convince her to stay first, but he should have no problem with his enticing lyrics atop Johnson’s production highlighted by ticking trap drums, throbbing bass and heavy synths.

“You ain’t gotta dash / I was hoping we could kick it / We could stay, girl, if I ask,” DeVaughn sweetly sings on the first verse before getting a little more raw on the second. “You ain’t gotta roll now / I rather you roll over to me / And I ain’t gotta pull out / You can stay, you can pull up on me,” he sensually croons, making it hard for her to say no.

“‘All Night’ is the prelude to what the Summer Of Love EP will be...Steamy!” The Love King stated in a press release. “I want music lovers to be prepared for it to be provocative, grown, sensual and mannish, all while allowing their sexual algorithms to be serenaded by the sounds of the EP.”

Raheem DeVaughn fans should set a reminder and circle June 21st in a red heart on their calendars so that they don’t miss the dawn of the Summer Of Love. In addition to the EP, Raheem has the Summer Of Love Tour planned with the roster of dates to be announced.
