GRAMMY-nominated love song killer MAJOR. dropped a sweet bop when he released his single “Baby Will You Love Me” in January. Now that we’re starting to thaw out from winter’s chill, he wants to make sure that we’re grooving to the love anthem all spring and summer. To ensure that happens, he recently released the song’s music video and stopped by The Jennifer Hudson Show earlier this week to perform the track and teach Jennifer Hudson and her audience the Baby Will You Love Me Shuffle.

MAJOR. shares his real-life love story on “Baby Will You Love Me,” telling how he found and fell for his beautiful wife. For the visual, MAJOR. decided to go in a different direction with a ’70s-themed shindig that he likened to an “old Berry Gordy, Motown-esque style release party celebration” when interviewed on ExtraTV about it.

Directed by Marcus Pitt, the visual features MAJOR. celebrating life and love with family, friends and his braided beauty at a festive pool party. Everyone is dressed in their finest ’70s threads replete with the colors, patterns and hairstyles of the era. Everyone has a good old-fashioned time as they sip sparkling cider and boogie to his new line dance, the Baby Will You Love Me Shuffle.

MAJOR. stopped by The Jennifer Hudson Show to promote the new video and perform the song. He also revealed the meaning behind his biggest hit “Why I Love You,” saying it was a love song to God and love answered back. He credited what he learned from that divine exchange with finding his beloved wife Nichelle.

As he recited the lyrics to “Baby Will You Love Me” while on the couch with JHud, it was crystal clear that he’s all in. (If we had to express it with an emoji, it would be all heart eyes.) As the interview wrapped, Hudson asks him to teach her Baby Will You Love Me Shuffle. Jennifer and her audience joined MAJOR. and his dancers who walked them through the eight-counts, kicks, dips and claps that compose this fun line dance.

He performed the single for the audience with a rose and the microphone in hand. Seated in a high-back wicker chair and decked out in vintage fashions, the 1970s scene was set. A disco ball and vibrant kaleidoscope background complemented MAJOR. and his dancers’ throwback outfits and transported us back to the era as he chronicled his and his wife’s love story in this sweet song.

If the audience’s reaction was any indication, this is going to be another major hit for MAJOR. Watch his interview and performance on The Jennifer Hudson Show below and make sure to learn what will surely be a popular summer shuffle. It’s super easy, just take four steps up, four steps back, turn out kick, turn back kick, turn around and add a few claps while you put your personal stank on it.
