CeeLo Green brought soul back to the basics with his recent effort CeeLo Green Is Thomas Calloway. The set, which featured singles "Doing It All Together" and "People Watching," found him reaching back to music's past to enrich his own musical style. The set also celebrates love in all its forms, and no other song exemplifies that more than "For You." And now the track has a sweet and sentimental video to go along with it.
The clip doesn't feature CeeLo at all. Instead, we focus on a cute older couple enjoying each other's company. The two take turns singing the romantic lyrics to each other during the course of the day. The sentimental lyrics take on a new beauty coming from the couple as they pledge themselves to each other. The visual takes us through a day in their love, with the two sharing meals, music and stealing kisses throughout. It's the kind of timeless, effortless love that many of us dream of when we think of love and marriage and a sentiment we can all get with.
There have been a few visuals from the latest CeeLo Green project, but this one is our favorite by far. If you love seeing love, then it will be yours, too.
