Anderson .Paak, SZA, Chance The Rapper & More To Take Part In Mac Miller Tribute Concert
Last month we sadly lost the bright talent that was rapper Mac Miller. The 26-year-old, who died of a drug overdose, was well respected among his musical peers so it's no surprise that their banding together to honor their fallen friend. This Halloween, music stars Chance The Rapper, Anderson .Paak, SZA, Miguel. John Mayer, Travis Scott, Thundercat, Vince Staples and a host of others will take the stage for tribute concert "Mac Miller: A Celebration Of Life." The tribute will benefit the newly formed Mac Miller Circles Fund, which will "provide programming, resources and opportunities to youth from underserved communities, helping them recognize their full potential through exploration in the arts and community building." In a statement, Miller's mother Karen Meyers said, "The support we’ve experienced is evident in this amazing lineup and is a testament to Malcolm’s incredible life. He was a caring, loving human with a smile that could light up the sky and a soul that was out to make the world a kinder place and the MMCF will continue to do just that." The benefit will take place at LA's famed Greek Theater and tickets for the event are on sale now via Live Nation. #RIPMac
