Bow down to Stevie Wonder
The living legend that is Stevie Wonder was honored by many contemporary singers during the CBS special, Stevie Wonder: Songs in the Key of Life — An All-Star GRAMMY Salute. However, Stevie did those of us watching the best honor of all when he got up on stage, sat down at the keys and showed everyone how it's done -- effectively owning his own tribute. There was star power aplenty to be had from Beyoncé and Ed Sheeran to Babyface and Ariana Grande to Lady Gaga and her wig, who all performed during the telecast's dragging first hour. The second half of the special is when everything got infinitely better with Jill Scott, Janelle Monáe and India.Arie banding together like soul superheroes on "As," Stevie's daughter Aisha Morris serenading the man who wrote "Isn't She Lovely" about her as a baby and Stevie himself shutting it down with an epic finale and showing why he is a bona fide wonder of the world. -- Butta
