Rox Steals Rihanna's 'Girl' & Makes It All Her Own

I'm still convinced that Rihanna is some kind of insidious plot hatched by the Illuminati to infect the masses. How else can you explain why she's released an album every fall since the beginning of her career, or why, despite lacking any actual talent, she continues to sit pretty atop the charts? Case in point, last year's Loud received an Album of the Year nomination at the upcoming GRAMMY awards ceremony. Album of the Year, people?! How do we fight this untalented scourge? I suggest more people do what folks like UK singer Rox (and Anais Aida before her) have done and take back the wack. Rox took Rihanna-bot's "Only Girl in the World" and completely re-imagined it with soul and rock sensibilities. In the hands of an actual singer, you actually realize why this song is worth the millions her record label spent on it. Rox, who's debut album Memoirs was released last year, is rumored to be in the studio cooking up some more magic for the masses. In the meantime, take a listen to how music can sound when it's in the hands of a professional and press play. [H/T: SC]
